“We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.”

1. “And We sent down iron..”:
Iron on Earth is believed to have an extraterrestrial origin, aligning with the interpretation that iron was “sent down” to earth. Modern science confirms that heavy elements like iron are formed in stars through nuclear fusion. Allah ﷻ in the Quran specifically describes that iron did not come from earth itself but that he ﷻ had sent it down to earth.

Verse 25 has a total of 28 words. This number coincides with the total number of isotopes which the element Iron has.

In Arabic, each letter of the alphabet is assigned a numerical value, this is called Abjad.
If we count the numerical value of the word ‘Hadid” (Iron) in arabic, which is: حديد.
It will also be a 26. Which is the same as the atomic number of iron in the periodic table.

4. Distance to earth’s core.
There are a total of 5153 verses in the Quran until you get the verse 57:25. The distance to earth’s core is also about 5150 km according to current science.
The number of ayat (verses) from Surah 57:25 to the end of the Quran, Surah 114:6, totals 1,193. Interestingly, the Earth’s inner core is estimated to be about 1,200 kilometers thick, a number strikingly close to the aforementioned count of verses.

The Quran has a total of 114 chapters. divide this by 2 and you will have 57. Which is also the Chapter number of Al-hadid (The iron).
